Hi Glynis, I am seeing my GP on Monday morning. Do you think there's anything I should mention?

Humming, buzzing head tinnitus is often a sign of anxiety and depression - symptomatic for debilitating tinnitus and hyperacusis.

In my experience the head buzzing/humming clears up if/when you manage to get in control with your own mental imbalance (fight and flight mode). It's easier said than done though...

I agree. Tinnitus is tricky. Even when you get the anxiety and depression under control, I still think it takes months and months and even a couple of years before the tinnitus begins to get better in this situation.

@tbuzz89 True... not only that, but it's also so unpredictable in many ways. You may have a spike out of the blue, and trying to figure how and why.

BUT, time is a healer. Normally it does get better over time for the majority of sufferers. It's a marathon though...
