Was that their response when you emailed them? Damn, that's a long wait.

 

This could be a good thing, no? More reason for them to monitor the drug's effects (if positive).

 

WTF. Can you ask them why there is a delay for another year? Is this because they are doing both Phase 1 and 2 at the same time? Maybe results were good so they decided to do both Phase 1 and 2 at the same time.

Need to ask them for clarification if the trial is still Phase 1 or the delay for another year is to do Phase 2 at the same time.

 

They can announce results AND follow patients for a longer period of time afterwards. One doesn’t exclude the other.

 

Injections started in October 2020. Recruitment ended in February/March of 2021. The trial ended in June.

Why would they need to wait until mid-2022 to release the results? Straight bulls#@!

 

That’s the part that doesn’t make sense to me.

There should only be 2 reasons for the delay. They haven’t finished the trials or they are doing both Phase 1 and 2 at the same time.

They should have all the results there if the study was completed in June. What are they going to do now till Mid 2022.

Someone needs to ask them why the delay to Mid 2022.

 

Or COVID-19.

I would have expected a little delay but they only had 28 participants in the trial. It shouldn’t be delayed to Mid 2022.

I think the reason is something else.

After you sent them an email, how quickly did they reply to you? I sent an email a couple of days ago but they haven’t replied yet.

Hubert Lim was working on his device at the University of Minnesota and then he abandoned it to go and work with Neuromod (Lenire).

 

I've emailed them multiple times. They never respond. I don't get it. I wish we knew what the hell was going on.

 

Ok, so I just got off the phone with them. The lady was very nice. She said the delay was due to Covid and the results would be released in mid-2022.

 

They must be wondering why some many people are suddenly asking about this

I just hope it works. The wait will be worth it if it works.

How does one know which treatment to take if they aren’t 100% sure what caused their tinnitus?

In all seriousness I’m optimistic there may be something to lessen our problems a tad, soon.

 

As far as tinnitus and regenerative medicine are concerned, at the moment we seem to be still in the Stone Age.
