This is beautiful, @Lynny. My favorite line is...It's not really a quote but this poem by Robert Frost really resonated with me:
Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

L.M. had this amazing ability to absolutely inhabit the mindset of her characters, I think."When I left Queen's my future seemed to stretch out before me like a straight road. I thought I could see along it for many a milestone. Now there is a bend in it. I don't know what lies around the bend, but I'm going to believe that the best does."

You are so right, @Manny. I am also a huge fan of the Anne of Green Gables series, in fact, I have no less than three copies of her book, all in various stages of wear.L.M. had this amazing ability to absolutely inhabit the mindset of her characters, I think.
