Relief from Distortions — This Audio Track of Random Sounds Helps Me More Than White Noise

I tried making an audio track with as many random sounds in it as possible in order to trick my brain not to hear distortions as much if at all. It seems to provide relief as opposed to white noise where I simply hear the distortions in the noise.

It seems to help if I simply play a whole assortment of random tones on top of one another - but not as white noise. For me, listening to this audio file is better than being forced to constantly hear garbage.

Turn your volume to 0% and slowly ramp up to masking. I hope it hides your distortions.

Broadband noise brings it out the most. That's distortion. It doesn't sound like white noise. It sounds like hell on earth.

Wine glass hums over water or clinking sounds is also in the same category.

I wish so much it was just static or a tone.

Being suicidal is a real thing with this condition.

 

This is what mine sounds like right now except the foreground is a lot fuzzier for me, but same rapid pace pulses in both ears. Is this distortion for you? I ask because I would hear something like this with external sound or in silence. It's definitely a struggle to get through days like this, but it doesn't do this every day.

 

Bingo. I also experience everything you do.

Absolutely gut wrenching and then when new loud distortions break out or the wavering gets intense, well... pure fear. It's there in quiet, in masking, and in real life. There is no escape.

It has also decided to start copying noises when intense enough. Such as train bells or electric air pumps. They turn off and I still hear them wavering in and out of existence for about half an hour to days.

I think it's all based on the wavering and steroids.

Something happened to me. When I do the Reddit head tap trick, it has unreal effects I've never heard of, although it does eliminate the distortions for a few seconds until hell shows up for about 5 minutes.
