      Hi Kevin,

There is no program. As I mentioned in the last post there is a 7 day diet plan and that is it. It is almost a carbon copy of any diet plan you will find at this time of year, nothing special about it. Nothing on the Myelin Sheath and no tangible advice.

The whole book is vague and appears to have been a cut and paste from various sources. At the very end of it there is a section that tells you that something may hurt tinnitus, then goes on to explain what tinnitus is (briefly). The whole first chapter is on this, which tells me it has been cut and paste from a website somewhere.

If there was a cure I would be on it, there is nothing here at all that I can see, I have researched and tried a lot, as have many others here.

I'm guessing that a refund was sought after one day because the book content is sparse, 93 pages of large text. It is at best a $3 book for a kindle (in my ever humble opinion).

Rich mentioned about Dr Philips. He is real but he has a note on his site that he has nothing to do with tinnitus - a sign that someone has used his name without consultation or consent.

@Steve -Thank you for the reply. One last confusion. Didn't someone here say research on Phillips showed his work includes the myelin sheath?

Oops. I lied. One more: If it's a useless book and a scam, how did Nirvs get a refund, Doesn't make sense a scammer would have a useless product that he gives refunds on. What's the use?

Hi @Kevin O , Sorry but I can't find the post in question,(I have gone through twice), but I will clarify what I know now.

There is no Dr James Phillips ENT, (note the ENT), that this Alan Watson specifies in his bullshit presentation,There is however a Dr James Phillips. Senior Lecturer in Biomaterials & Tissue Engineering. University College London.

This is a long way from being an Ear, Nose and throat specialist like Alan Bulls##t Watson say's!

What is clearly obvious is that he has made up his own character, adding the name and semi disguising it by calling him an ENT specialist!

Hope that clarify's it for you.

Because usually when desperate sufferers pay for a scam like this they are thinking the same thing, if it doesn't work in 60 days I can get a refund.
These scammers rely on a time period where people go all out to try this almost impossible lifestyle change, which also is bloody expensive,(eating the right sort of foods are mostly applied by the well off in life).
Usually the placebo effect will come into play over this time period because the majority of a population do fall for it!
By the time sufferers realize that this isn't working they can't be bothered even applying for the refund, after all it was only 40 bucks anyway, that's what this scam rely's on!

Direct quote from @Steve 's post above your's!

I know I'm not @Nirvs , but Nirvs obviously read all these post's and is taking advice from all us expert Tinnitus sufferers which is a wise thing to do!;)

      Regards Rich

Yes. Dr Phillips exists. His publications include titles such as:

Engineered neural tissue with aligned, differentiated adipose-derived stem cells promotes peripheral nerve regeneration across a critical sized defect in rat sciatic nerve

Curiously he doesn't list "reverse my tinnitus".

@RichL - Sorry, chalk it up to newbyism. I didn't realize you were saying that while there IS a Dr Phillips in connection to the myelin sheath, there is no Dr. Phillips "ENT". My bad.

@RichL @Steve - Thanks guys. As you can probably tell from my questioning I'm kinda desperate to find a cure. It went away about 15 years or more ago for two days when I started taking a new medication, but came right back. The silence was wonderful.

      That's okay Kevin,

We sometimes get a little excited about products like this. It's perverse to tell people they will be cured in a couple of weeks and give them false hope, we've seen many of them unfortunately.

I hope that you can find something around the site that may help you a little.

The links to things that are associated with myelin sheath regeneration that RichL posted will likely be a starting point for me. Vitamin D3, B12... that sort of thing.

No, unfortunately. I seem to remember (tho don't bank on it) that it may have been an anti-depressant. A large capsule. I want to say dark red and grey, but it was a while ago.

BTW, what is syringing? The cause you listed.

@Markku Wasn't a "Q"!!! It's a "C". Cymbalta (Duloxetine). I was off about the color too. Although an anti-depressant, it was prescribed for me for diabetic neuropathy to alleviate pain. The first night after taking it I realized my tinnitus was completely gone. Boy, do I remember the silence. It was wonderful. It soon came right back though.

I have read through the entire document, and it's very disappointing. It's riddled with grammatical errors and poor sentence structure as if it was written by someone in sixth grade. Some of that is likely due to the fact that it's a compilation of many different sources of material.

Some of the so called tinnitus related advice is equally unprofessional, such as "eat lots of dark chocolate," and "get plenty of good sleep." The actual content is far different from the pitch, which claims to cure tinnitus within a couple of weeks using specific- very specific, commonly available grocery items. That's simply not the case. In fact, twice in the document it states that there is no cure for tinnitus. This is outright fraud and the FTC should be alerted and have the Web host pull the site.

My older brother, who also suffers from severe tinnitus, sent me a link today about an interesting article in the New York Times regarding the change in focus toward hearing loss and tinnitus in the medical community:

Thank you guys. I am just desperate to find something to help my wife. We are completely new to tinnitus and are finding good things in the book, like changing and replacing certain items in our diets, they may not help tinnitus at the end but they will help in other areas.

      Loud noise... I think.
I am generally very skeptical of long winded streaming videos that go on and on before telling you what it is they want to sell you... and this one is bout a tinnitus cure.

At the risk of putting you through the same long winded sales pitch, have any of you ever heard of this alleged cure. Here it is: http://my-tinnitus-solution.com

Tinnitus is allegedly cured by producing antibodies which repair damaged myelin sheaths on your auditory nerves which causes your tinnitus to go away.

And how do you generate those antibodies? You eat a combination of foods as recommended by their book and your tinnitus goes away for good.

The "solution" is marketed as "Reverse My Tinnitus". Has anyone heard of this before? They have a "special" _right now_ of $39.

I'm so glad I found this forum. Just watched the video promo for "Reverse My Tinnitus" and came very close to ordering it. Then I noticed that package included several books and a CD, and I wondered why all this was needed since the "cure" was simply adding some foods to your diet for a certain amount of time. So I decided to try and research a little, and found this site. As is the case with many of you, I have had tinnitus in the form of a very high-pitched ringing in my left ear, and it's been a long time since I have experienced any blessed silence. After so many years, though, I have to confess that a good deal of the time I am unaware of it, finally. It nearly drove me insane in the beginning. But I can't have silence in my life. Have to always have noise in the background, especially when it's time for sleep - TV, radio, music. So, while it is disappointing that there is no miracle cure, I'm glad I found a group of people who have "been there, done that," who actually have been dealing with this condition and whose knowledge I respect more than any claims of miracle cures. I stand with those who say if they actually found this cure they'd be shouting it from the rooftops for FREE, knowing how we all suffer. Thank you all.

I'm new here and also found this forum because this thing almost took me in. And that is really saying something, not about the cleverness of the scam so much as my desperation to stop this noise.

Good people here. Glad to have found this place. Thank you mods and admin(s) for having me.

Hi, I'm new here. I was drawn to this forum from researching an ad that this thread is about, "Reverse my Tinnitus".
I figured it was a scam and with a little research, it appears that I was correct.

What I did find useful is this forum. I didn't know that it existed until today.
I've suffered with Tinnitus as long as I can remember. I put in a Tinnitus sufferer since 1970 in my profile but I believe I've had Tinnitus most of my life.

I'll be doing a little research here to see what I may be able to do to relieve myself of the constant buzzing, ringing in my ears.

      Thanks guys, Sam

Does anyone know what that is?

I'm not very active at all on Twitter, just curious what it is. My spider sense starts tingeling, sensing scam. ;)
