I have lived with tinnitus for over two years. Used every tick in the book people would suggest. Wasted lots of money and tears. The masking hearing aid does help some. I am lucky in that I do have quiet days from time to time and sometimes one or two together.

I have had MRIs, dental scans, specialist exams and all with no pin point to cause.

I am saying all of this as proof I tried it all. Recently because of a fall and injury I have been sleeping in a recliner. There has been a remarkable improvement to my tinnitus!

Some days none , but even if it is there it is much lower than ever before! The only difference in my daily life is sleeping in the recliner.

Could make a case that there is some relief in changing one's posture.

My tinnitus came on after a bout of some virus. Both ears were infected also had a severe reaction to meds given at an urgent care, amoxicillin, prednisone and a med because they thought I had shingles in my ear, the ear that developed tinnitus. Have had enlarged lymph node under that side ever since. But, all kinds of docs say no blockages etc.. perhaps sleeping in a recliner position let’s fluid drain. I have given up trying to find the answer, no one knows. Just sharing an observance in my case.
