      Hello guys,
      How are you?
It's passed a lot of time from my last post here in TT!!
Now I'm better after 1 year from the onset of my tinnitus !! I discovered the cause of my tinnitus, probably the main cause is stomach reflux that has inflammed my eustachian tube and after it's beginning the tinnitus! Now I feel a cracking sound in my ears are my eustachian tube that are inflammed! I use omperazole to cure it!!

barotrauma from airplane descent, noise exposure? ETD? TMJD?
That will cure your acid reflux, but I don't think it's related to ETD. Cracking sound is normal for many people when they swallow, but inflammed E-tubes could cause tinnitus. Check with @engineerLA's methods.

@Jokko, is your tinnitus gone or lessened? I'm going to see a ENT tomorrow about ETD, but I'm quite sure he'll say
HF hearing loss is the reason for my noise. It could be a combination of things I suppose. I take it your the gentleman on the left in your pic?:)

Cracking sound in the ears isn't normal the cause is eudtachian tube that are inflammed!!! The reason are. Stomach reflux (many people have it but they don't know it and it's very dangerous!!!) or it's possible have allergies !! I has a visit with a specialist ENT of eustachian tube, he say that he will operate my eustachian tube but only when the inflammation is gone!! so isn't the cure for tinnitus but the tinnitus can be the reason of a stomach reflux!!!

Hi Jokko, I'm also experiencing a crackling sound when i swallow, or when i trigger it by flexing some muscle that is connected to the eustachian tube. my ENT validated this with an endoscopy.

What kind of surgery does your ENT propose to get rid of the crackling sound?

      Hi Jokko,

Thanks, my daughter has stomach reflux and is complaining of ear fullness for last two days....did the ENT do your surgery...how did it go....if your ear was inflammed, did it go down by itself.

Please let me know. Thanks, Mita
