Hi i don't know if this is right place to talk about, but recently about a couple months ago, I heard ringing in my left ear (just my left ear). I searched up and it said that it could be a symptoms of a brain tumor, so should i be worried? It also sounds like its in my head but at the same time in my ear as well, what should I do?

      Tinnitus Since:
      February, 2017
      Cause of Tinnitus:
      Acoustic Trauma
Do you have other symptoms associated with a brain tumor (e.g., dizzy spells, problems on only one side of the body)? If tinnitus is your only symptom, I wouldn't worry about brain cancer.

If there really is no reason for you to get T (no exposure to loud noise, use of headphones, hearing loss), you may want to do an MRI to eliminate the possibility that you have acoustic neuroma.

unilateral t should be investigated with a brain mri to rule out neuromas as others have suggested

an extended audiogram would be helpful

      noise exposure?
