Tinnitus Story: Disco Worsened My Tinnitus — TMJ Aggravates It More

I have had tinnitus since 2018/2019, but it had always been manageable and it was always in a "background" noise.

About three months ago, I went to a disco for a few hours, that seemed to have spiked my tinnitus substantially (led to anxiety, anxiety, etc).

I have been taking some supplements (Ginkgo, Magnesium, Lipoflavonoid) and will be going to a TMJ specialist to see if anything can be done (as I also have TMJ that aggravates the tinnitus). I will also be checking out the possibility to receive Prednisone injections/pills.

I will try to update as these things pan out.

Rightly or wrongly, when people don’t return to post any updates, especially when they mention anxiety, I like to think it’s because the situation has resolved.

You know us anxious folk can’t stay away from the forum and love to feed the negative feedback loop.

 

Correct lol. I never used this site the first time I got tinnitus in 2015 and now I can't help but keep coming back
