Tragus Piercing

Hi All,

I have been suffering with tinitus since I had a stroke in Jan 2016, it was a horrible hissing sound and loud pitch constant noise in time with my heart beat. Yesterday I was bored and thought id get a new piercing; i chose the tragus piercing. I dont know if it is just coincidence but I can no longer hear the awful noises anymore.

Has anyone else had this experience? Does t die off and come back?

This piercing has been reputed to help with chronic headaches. I've never heard of it helping tinnitus. I have my ears pierced several times over but never noticed a decrease. I've also been pierced several times on my face (lips, ears, eyebrow). Had to take most facial piercings out because of my job.

Anyhow, my niece got this piercing done for headaches. I'd have to ask my regular piercer his thoughts. Our bodies can do strange things. Maybe I'll get it done after my baby is born and let you know.
