TTTS — Questions to Those Who Have/Had It

I understand what the symptoms suggest with regard to TTTS. I was just wondering if some people on the board who have or have had TTTS could share their feelings on the subject.

What does the pain feel like? (e.g. deep centered pain, sharp, stabbing etc.)

Is their a discernible pattern to when it occurs, or is it just random for no apparent reason i.e. in quiet environments?

 

My ears spasm/twitch sometimes for hours or even days when the spasm is happening it doesn't hurt but it does make an annoying sound plus I feel it twitching inside. It becomes painful after many hours of spasming my ear feels sore and warm. What are your symptoms? Also mine doesn't have a pattern it can happen anytime anywhere but especially if I yawn, burp or stretch.

 

Mine spasm/twitch as well, the pain feels like a pencil stuck deep in my ear. I find that stretching the neck and massage helps.

i have tense neck and my plop time to time it got better but its still not gone after 10 months

 

I've had it since before I got tinnitus so more than 2 years now... would be nice to have some answers :/
