      I'm still in uni.

My first job was front end stuff in JavaScript but I didn't enjoy it that much.

Now I'm an intern in a government-owned organization, working on a web-crawler software written in Python. It's awesome. I'd love to say more about it but its's a little classified xD

I teach elementary school but next year I'll be teaching Special Education at a local children's rehabilitation centre for very high needs kids with multiple exceptionalities!

Before I was a teacher I worked on the gaming floor of our local casino and also did some retail in the mall -- hated the retail one ugh...

I am a "late bloomer". Presently working on my website, building a portfolio and hoping in the very near future to sell my note cards and laminated bookmarks to book stores, florists and specialty stores. I had realized some success in the past.

Use to work for an online ebay store, then a call center. Saved enough money up to go through college and went for graphic design and web design. After I graduated my mom ended up on a feeding tube so instead of working I took care of her and the house hold. She got better enough to get off it and I was going to go find work. Then my dad got ill and we were both taking care of him. Got him better and we re-shingled the roof.

Was looking forward to a nice quiet year and was going to start up my design site when wham, head injury and my journey with T began. I still would love to keep my goals for designing. Especially related to books. My biggest dream is to become a librarian. Though it seems far away now and I'm having issues focusing when I read books.

I still take odd and end logo design jobs and I'm currently still taking care of the household. Though not like I use too. I've been thinking about going back to any kind of work, but really need to clear our house and sell things.

Oh, and computer repair here and there.

Worked in a hospital as a coordinator of services. I had the pleasure of working with hundreds of doctors, who many though that tinnitus is caused by old age. ER doctors and most other doctors only watched a 30 minute film about tinnitus when in medical school. They knew nothing about unsafe drugs for those with tinnitus. I had to retire the first time that I got tinnitus and hyperacusis seven years ago.

I was also a research partner and sometimes did some trading for a private investment fund that was mainly invested in medical and biotech. Our investors were mostly doctors. I had talked once with the CEO of a biotech/medical company about 20 years ago that was considering hair stem cells trials for hearing and tinnitus. He said then, that there would be FDA approved treatment in ten years.

I'm only a college student majoring in English literature... I don't know what I'm going to to actually, and one person pitied me on that. But I'm very satisfied that I love English language and its literatures.
Before I get any jobs, I will concentrate on developing my self, such as studying in other european languages and indulging in jazz piano lessons.

Writer. 3 published books w/in a niche market (read: few sales). Two SF and one Romance.

Before that I've done stuff from nursery school coordinator to nursery/landscape laborer to hot dog vendor at ball park (not in the stands!) to various others. I was on my way to being a potter (few months from finalizing the business) when I had a car accident that started the cascade. I am on disability as of '98 and been writing "professionally" since '07.

The tinnitus does not cause problems writing other than the constant non stop never ending go the eff away ringing and roar. The dizziness that started a few weeks ago makes looking at the screen difficult (when it hits) so I've had to delay a few projects.

I translate books from English to Bulgarian. It is not very well paid, but it is good when you have insomnia or anxiety.

As a Cancer Research Scientist I research, evaluate, and implement different interventions related to colorectal, cervical, and breast cancer. It's fulfilling, rewarding, and anxiety invoking. My other job is as a dater manager (split 50/50) where I work on developing new applications that interact with electronic medical records (think garmin/apple watch sending notifications to your doctor that you have high blood pressure).

I am a doctor and I was fired from my job because I have tinnitus. As I was on health leave, the government thought it best to fire me because I was not working, I'm ill ( the doctor told me). I've worked for 19 years. This decision was made by my colleagues (doctors) who know nothing about tinnitus. They are psychiatrists and orthopedists (are part of the group of doctors who evaluate whether you can work or not, and this examination has to be medical and impartial, without government interference). One of them asked me why I was complaining about hearing loss if I hear more than other people because I have hyperacusis, and didn't want to look at my audiometries (because she didn't know how to interpret them). It's these people who decide our lives!

All jokes aside I'm studying to become a psychologist but in Denmark all students get economical support so that it (in theory) is possible for everyone to graduate, regardless of their background. Besides I have a student job at a homepage with a mailbox young people with all kinds of problems can write to and ask for advice and help. I'm the one who answers their question and do my best to help them! :D

Good on Denmark, sad that the US system cant remedy itself enough to promote education for all. Sounds like a great job too.

Currently an aeronautical engineer, but might be switching to software engineering and web development. Need to make a decision relatively soon. Either that or go to grad school for aero. Complete opposite direction...
