What's Your Opinion of Me?

Some people here like me and others hate me. What is the overall opinion?

 

I don't think that anybody here hates you. I think you're doing the best you can, and have been honest. No two people can agree on everything. There's nothing wrong with you, this is a difficult condition to deal with, and you're a member of the forums, including this community, in good standing.

I answered screw him because you are one of those people who are are full of opinions and arrogance on internet but walking down the street you look down at the pavement and are a scared little boy. You live your life over the internet. I'd be surprised if you study or work. Nobody would probably miss you if you died. Many of your posts here have made me feel worse than better, thanks for that

 

I hate to admit it but you nailed the description of me.

Aside from that I can't logically see your beef with me. What do I post that makes you feel bad? The truth? Why would you let my comments effect your emotional state? You seem like more of a scared boy in that regard tbh.

I like how this is your first post but you've been here a while. Your virginity post had to be directed at slighting me?

True. I've seen the most random threads here. This is basically general chat at this point.

Problem with general chat is threads hang around forever. This will be wiped away in a torrent of pure activity by tomorrow.

Actually, I feel members would be better served if they would disregard some who post here such as the person whom you referred as they are immature and their comments are not in any way constructive. I hope you find comfort when you read all the "Success Stories".

Beautifully put Barbara. I was saddened to read the comments by @P T Daly and to know he has been affected in such a way by someone so immature. We all know tinnitus can be very debilitating when it is severe. This forum is meant to be a place where one can seek help and support and not be subjected to ridicule or disparaging remarks. For such a person to then ask, for the opinion of others just about says it all.

Lol. This poll makes me laugh. I don’t know why you’d want to know what people think of you. If you had a not bothered option I would have put that, because I don’t think this poll deserves any thought;-)

 

Mostly for fun. If you couldn't be bothered, then why comment?

 

Many here try hard to be a giver and not a receiver, but there are times when we all need a little love and understanding. Living with tinnitus can be complex. Sometimes we have other medical concerns that could relate to our tinnitus.

This worldwide forum has many advantages and that can't be stated in a few words. Regardless of where you live, we are all in the same family here.

Just about everyone will experience suffering in their lives. I left my house with my wife for the first time in weeks with my noise blocking headphones. We live in a populated very noisy area. We went to a small variety store a mile from our house.

People outside the store were in panic. They were looking for somewhere to spend the night. There's always homeless people outside this store, but these people were not homeless as of a few days ago.

The California wildfires had destroyed their homes. One family said that they lost a child. If I didn't have tinnitus, we would have offered them to stay with us. We would had placed mattresses on our floors. My wife was able to find them a hotel to stay in. All over the world there's countless situations where families are uprooted.

As said by others, I will not judge someone else until I walk in their shoes.

 

Unfortunately the person in question has rubbed quite a few people up the wrong way here. I know that for they have sent me PM's mentioning this. One such member is a tinnitus veteran and gives a lot of support and has grown quite fed up with this interloper. He has also turned his attention on me but I'm not so easily phased. I am not a person that's into name calling or debasing myself by using vulgar language.

I nether like or dislike you. I don't know you well enough for me too judge whether I like you or not.

You do seem like you are hurting and struggling a lot though and for that you have my sympathy.

 

I thought it would be funny to put ‘screw him’. For someone who posts like this, I didn’t think you’d be so sensitive. You even put ‘screw yourself’

 

Wow, that was a very cruel and inconsiderate post and anyone who agree's with it is certaintly not as nice and well mannered as they would like to be perceived as.

Saying that a person wont be missed when they are dead is about as inconsiderate and foul as anyone can get. I don't understand how anyone can agree with such behavior.

 

I did too, which is why I did it myself. Was supposed to be a joke thread but some people decided to take it too seriously. For the most part I don't care, which is why instead of trying to win people over I just bant them off and win as usual.

And you sure are assblasted for a man who doesn't care.

 

This community can be so toxic and mean. I voted like.

 

The posts I read are both positive and inspiring. Unfortunately, there will always be some that want to bring negativity to the table. I try to ignore these.

 

Hey Threefirefour. I think you are a very confident and intelligent young person (you just don't have a lot of life experience that comes with getting older). I don't really have that much of an opinion from posting for a long time though. But, whatever. You didn't like the country music thread....but that didn't bother me.

Sick response there P T Daly. You sound like an old professional veteran hiding behind yet another made up screen name.

 

He could have made his point but without using those words. “Nobody would probably miss you when you’re dead” is over stepping the mark. In my opinion that makes him no better than Threefirefour. I was just having a bit of banter!!

 

I need to make a wording correction in reference to my post above about a family that lost a child in a wildfire area.

According to my wife who doesn't need ear protection - the child was separated from the parents, but found safe before they departed out of the fire zone.

Sorry to waste posting space, but I just need to mention this.

 

I guess he's saying that because I'm antisocial or something, that if I died, nobody would notice. That's my guess because I've seen it used on the internet. Still rood v_v

Thank goodness for that. Glad he was found. A special needs kid from my moms school wandered off and were looking for him.

 

I think you have to anger or bad side jokes, due to most of us want correct answer and knowing Ts been around for a long time and no resolution. sometimes being nice doesn't help either its hard to move forward when you are not heard, l don't believe anyone should be mean, this is not the place for that .
it is the only place for strength. For the amount of years T has been around and no definite answer for the right treatment for it to go away. It makes the best of us go crazy. Again this site is the best to receive help and band together.

 

Bad side jokes? I think my memeposting is part of what gives this site flavor.
