White Noise Brings Out Tinnitus

White noise is bringing out certain tones of my T. It's not the louder tone. It's the quieter ones. It's like the tone is trying to get louder than the white noise. I don't think that is actually what is happening but that is how it seems. Does anyone know what this is or why this is happening?

I was referring to any kind of constant type noise, like a fan, leaf blower, water running, refrigerator, etc. Nothing I am listening to on purpose to deal with the t

What is that exactly? I don't see any definitions. What causes this?

I'm not saying you have reactive t, just speculating.
As to what causes it, well, science is not there yet I suppose.

My T is reactive. That means whenever I turn down the masking sound my T goes up with new tones like racing the baseline T. I quite hate it.
