Who Would You Like to Meet from Tinnitus Talk?

Just got an idea from @Zimichael's thread and wanted to ask, if you had an opportunity who would you like to meet in person from the board?

 

Hmmm... I'd love to meet @attheedgeofscience and have an intellectual conversation with him cause that guy is smart and very savvy in a lot of things. I'd like to meet @Markku! Probably also @RaZaH and @SoulStation... And sweet @Karen... So many people I would love to meet!

First thing, I would like to shake @Markku's hand for making this forum (with his helpers, of course) and then I would like to meet in person and talk with absolutely everybody. Of course I have my favourites too, some for their warm hearts, some for their sense of humor, some for their bright minds, but I would prefer not to reveal who they are.

As for the scumbags who made good money exploiting our suffering and desperation baiting us with useless books and pills, I would also like to meet with each of them, one by one, in a private room though.

On a second thought, I would like to mention one of my favourites, so I respect at least a little bit the purpose of this very nice thread of @valeri. I wanted at one point to give him a hug for every post he put, no matter the content of it, so he will collect from me about 100 "hug" ratings, after I read a post of him that he wrote for a suicidal person. I am talking about @nills. The world would be nicer place if there were more people like him. Didn't get to do that, though, the 100 cyber-hugs. Maybe I will give him those hugs in person. Can't search and show you the post I am referring at, cause if I see it I would start to cry like fool again.
At such a meeting I would like to give a real hug to every person I gave a cyber-hug.

I would like to meet you all. I would like if i was rich and to make big hotel. Entire hotel with small rooms that have soundproof rooms but you can open windows, and and to pay you all tickets to you can bring your sound machines in extremely quite airplane with no pressure change to some nice place in spain where is quiet and we are only guest but there is nice el buss to city. And one more hotel on green mountain, so we cen meet wherever we want, there is el buss going up and then up to green colder woods, and lake.

I would do that to all of us in TT (except Viking whom i dont trust that he would not plant a bomb)...

 

Honestly I'd love to meet anyone who suffers from tinnitus and hyperacusis , I just don't know lots of people who knows what's it like going throu it

 

I am all for an international Meet Up Day! NYC would be a good location.

 

I visited NY just one year before this hell started, had the best time and would love to go again, just not sure that the vibe would be the same

I would love to have a meet up at some point too. NYC sounds perfect, haven't been and really want to see it.

I remember a year or two back, there was a thread where we talked about meeting. Let's make it happen!

I want to meet So many people here, and ny is ok but after the winter ....... Or here Dallas in Texas some southern hospitality we can rent a bus and drive to New Orleans

 

Hi @Karen, aww yes it's a shame we could not meet up .
I also have a mega aeroplane phobia and would never fly .
I have been to Spain and Italy on a coach and ferry .
You are all lovely on here and so friendly.
Had my little grandson tonight while his parents went see a show so took him see a firework display with my youngest son and his gf.....lots of love glynis

 

If I win the lottery I'll pay for everybody on this forum to meet up in New York for the biggest get together of all time.

I like @Karen's idea: a meet-up in Europe and here in the US.

Oh @glynis, I was hoping you would come and bring sweet Molly so I could see her adorable bunny self in person! I just might have to come to the EU meet-up too.

 

Or we could have one of those group skype chats with a few people. that'd be fun
