Which would you say are the widest? From my experience, these seem to be the widest but I'm hoping to find others.

Why, if you do not mind me asking, would "widest" be a major criteria for selection, unless you have unusually large ear canals?

Because I've found that the thinner ones don't seem to block sound as effectively yet they have the same or very close decibel rating. I've been experimenting with a bunch of them lately to see which work best and it's the wider ones. I'm thinking I may have large ear canals.

Honestly too I'm questioning the efficacy of earplugs in general .... I wear them correctly ( rolled thin no creases, pull up ear, insert very deeply, hold in place w finger until expands) and I'm still have spikes and increases in my tinnitus. Just today was outside with a Hearos extreme in while someone was using a power tool which registered 75-80 decibels. My ear is ringing louder now. I really don't understand what's going on with this.

These are the best ear plugs I have ever used . They are wide and they completely block most noises .

Yeah, those are the ones i use most. Though they don't seem to be doing as good of a job as they should be doing (and i do insert them correctly) though. My ear rings louder after using them around noise.
