Hi all. It's been a while since I've posted here. Back in January I had an accident with headphones that caused me some acoustic trauma and I had tinnitus for a few weeks non-stop. Since then it has either subsided or I just don't notice it... but I don't wanna hone in on it right now anyways...

For the past week almost I've drank nothing but water and have eaten fairly better but today I decided to treat myself and have a can of Coke and a piece of cheesecake and I noticed that I can hear my tinnitus again and it's been pretty quiet for a few days now.

The first night I got it I could have swore I heard it in my dream that night. Whenever I'm super anxious about something I'll have a dream about it that day and in my dream I remember it was totally unrelated to T but then all of a sudden I remembered my real life situation and started to hear...

Hi @daniel1111 thanks for replying I actually do use the mental block as a way to cope with it and so far it's worked as long as I'm distracted! I'm going to keep trying it to kick the habit as well. and @billie48 thank you for the positive words! :LOL:

I hear mine whenever I'm in my room and trying to watch tv. If I go anywhere else in the house or outside it's hard to hear it because it gets masked there.
