Sometimes it makes me both cynical and indifferent – and I know it's not good for me and my surroundings. Trying to spare the ones I love from it as much as possible.
Today it's like the running motor drone sound and the high-pitch string sounds are competing who can be the loudest. My right ear has been feeling different since the car horn some weeks ago. I'm worried about hearing loss. I don't think the car horn is the reason but maybe the straw that broke the camel's back.
Sat in the garden listening to the wind in the tall pine trees. Is it green or brown noise, I don't know, but it was soothing to my tinnitus ears. Almost made it disappear for a moment there.
A motorbike honked its very loud horn right next to me. Now I'm worried that it has caused a permanent spike it's kind of loud since it happened yesterday … I had no chance to put in earplugs
I am getting more days where my tinnitus is not the first thing I think about in the morning. But it's still on my mind at least once a day. It's been more than 2½ years since it got worse.
Tom, for your information, I donate to the community every single month. And yes, I am very successful. If the stock goes to $40 I would be very happy for my hearing potentially and my pockets. But hearing is wayyy more important to me than money is.
