Tinnitus from Loud Music Is So Much Better After 6 Months

...brass instruments such as trombone and I was always surrounded by other players. And that night well it was loud and probably I was close to the speaker and I also was drunk and took 4 ibuprofen before I went to sleep. So I think the combination of all of these caused this ringing in the ear.

I’ve also given Ibuprofen a try for pulsation tinnitus with the underlying thought that it might affect inflammation and lower the PT. It did nothing, possibly made it worse. I’m presently taking turmeric and will give it a try for a few weeks to see if this has any effect. If nothing else...

Should Tinnitus Sufferers Worry About Paracetamol/Ibuprofen/Codeine?

My T is due to LUVOX (SSRI) taken in 2007 and my increase is due to Clarithromycin (antibiotics) taken in 2014. So I know I need to be careful with ototoxic medication. I have taken ibuprofen several times in the past for migraines and headaches and it never increased my T.

Yes, I do. Because of TN I recently took so much ibuprofen (while in agony in the middle of the night, so not fully conscious, that I got intoxicated with it. Ibuprofen Greatly Reduces My Tinnitus

I'd be careful with NSAIDS as they are somewhat ototoxic. I used to abuse OTC Codeine preparations with Ibuprofen in and I often wonder if that damaged my right ear (the one with the T in). I've had spikes from Ibuprofen and Naproxen a couple of times (had to take the drugs for inflammation). Tinnitus Worse After Microsuction?

I had the same the other month. The ear canal is delicate and has been exposed to ‘trauma’, I was told I might get it and I did. It eventually healed after about 10 days. It’s a form of otitis externa but not infected, just inflamed. Ibuprofen will help.

Medicine That Can Cause Tinnitus or Make It Worse?

Generally otoxic drugs can cause and worsen Tinnitus, now I'm not sure if it's one ibuprofen or a lot of them but I wouldn't risk it. I thought weed couldn't do anything and now I'm hearing some sounds louder probably because of the THC in my system. Don't risk it, not worth at all.
