Hello and welcome to the club that nobody wants to be a member of. I have been part of it for over 33 years, so I know quite a bit. I saw many hopeful signs in what you shared. First, you wear earplugs at concerts. That should reduce your sound exposure by at least 20 decibels, bringing it...

With all due respect, you're mostly wrong. You're right, the FDA doesn't regulate who a company can raise money from, only how the device is marketed. So, private fundraising from accredited investors is fine, but public crowdfunding that promotes or pre-sells an unapproved device would likely...

NAC May Have Helped My Hearing Loss, Although It Definitely Gave Me High-Frequency Tinnitus

If you do try it, let us know how it goes. I’ve been taking Liposomal Glutathione, which is said to be the compound that makes NAC effective for hearing loss. I’ve found that, in this form, it doesn’t seem to have a negative effect on my tinnitus.

The Ringing Has No Mercy: Ten Years of Loud Tinnitus, Struggling to Habituate

I’m new here and just wanted to express my deepest sympathy for everyone suffering from tinnitus. Mine started nearly ten years ago for idiopathic reasons, as I don’t have much measurable hearing loss. My ENT mentioned there could be hidden hearing loss that can’t be picked up on routine tests...

The volume of the ringing has gone down. The fluctuations still occur, but the peaks do not seem as loud as before.
