Anti histamine will reduce the inflammation in your sinussen, which means less fluid , and therefore less pressure on the nerves. Whether it will help you or not depends on the cuase of your T. PT might be cuased by allergies/overactive imuunsyteem.

Agreed, visit the doctor. If you feel fluid in your ears, there may be fluid in your ears... It could be related to allergies, inflammation of/around the Eustachian tubes can cause both a middle ear fluid buildup and tinnitus. (I'm not a doctor, though!)

Marlene - yep that's inflammation which is causing your problem most likely. Resolve the inflammation and the T will get better. Note - for bad allergies I really do like the combination of supplements - and especially add in the Chinese medicine (Herba Plus) -- it helps.

Im thinking about getting allergies shots to reduce my symptoms because this has been the worst i have ever been i usually get Eczema and itching but this congestion and T has been a Hell for me has any one tryed them

@Agrajag364 Dental work definitely was the starter for me, plus horrible allergies and maybe an acoustic trauma. Look at all avenues. I believe my tinnitus was caused by multiple factors, like a glass that eventually overflowed and the T settled in. Good luck!

Hi there, to be quite honest with you, I have had tinnitus since 88. I have not had any light headedness or dizziness, unless I had vertigo/inner ear infection or since I got allergies in 2009. Now, I have light headedness almost daily.

I started taking Singulair when I was misdiagnosed with allergies and it was the one medication I noticed seemed to help. I figured this out by starting and stopping medications and supplements for weeks at a time and documenting what I heard/how I felt.

Pred can induce anxiety, try to calm down. If this med bothers you don't take it. I always have allergies and at one point dr told me to take pred. I refused because, I know pred can induce anxiety and I didn't want any part of it.

I take cinnarazine. The normal dose is 5mg tablets for allergies I take 15mg Tablets and can take anything from one up to 6 aday as prescribed by AnE and my doctor. At that strength it helps treat Menieres and Tinnitus....lots of love glynis
