Agnostics “R” Us...

You do not have to dig deep to see that Christianity is a human construction.
'Hell' or Hel, the norse goddess who oversaw the underworld that was also named Hell.
'Easter' the rebirth of Christ, or Eostre, a pagan goddess of fertility.
Even without the name, one has to wonder about how coincidentally, the revival of Christ is one of many similar legends (akin to the numerous flood myths) and why Christ is the only correct legend and not say the story of Persephone and Demeter.

'Christ' or we could just as easily be worshipping Mithras right now if Christ hadn't won that race.

 

You had a vision or something? Or maybe you are omniscient? In that case could you please inform us of how Buddha is in reality, just curious.

Many people can modulate their T via jaw and neck movements (even for noise-induced T, for some). If God created us, why did he mix together the auditory and jaw-movement parts of the brain, that's such a random thing to do.

If this is a thread for the non-religious, then here's my opinion regarding the man in the above photo, Lhamo Thondup.

Lhamo Thondup, AKA the Dalai Lama, is a type of priest, and his particular organization of Buddhists was responsible for multitudes of crimes against humanity in Tibet, when they were in power. Like all priests, he is a liar and wolf in sheep clothing, and very different from what he is portrayed to be in popular culture. If he had the power to do so, he would very likely restore serfdom and repressive theocratic rule to his country, and set them back to the living hell it was before the communists took control.

I had no idea, having always swallowed the popular myth.
I started this thread by nailing my colours to the mast - “Agnostics are Us,” - so that visitors would know what to expect and should not therefore complain.
My own perspective is that nobody can know of the existence of god.
Everything is conjecture.

 

I can offer great evidence that there are major prophecies concerning the rise and fall of world empires in the Bible, OT and NT that were fulfilled.
I'm believer and I struggle immensely about the nature of our existence the way God has set it out but nonetheless, I know it is true.
