Cautiously Optimistic Turning Point

Been through an emotional, insanely intrusive noise invader in my right ear and head for a month and 15 days. I feel like it is starting to fade. It still seems to be more intense at night. I still feel "something" going on in my ear. I think I had/have Eustacian tube disfunction and my body is taking care of the problem, slowly. It could have been a virus. I have been praying a lot. In the beginning I did have sensitivity to sounds such as pots and pans clanging together, but that seems better too. There was a lot of pressure in my head too. That seems to be going. The noise at first was a nightmare, but that is changing also. Sometimes I hear silence now. But after the exertion of doing something, such as cleaning the house, that seems to set it off again, but the noise level is tolerable. Just wanted to share some good news. By the way, my family Dr. thought this was sensorial hearing loss only and everyone goes through it. Not to worry. REALLY!!!!!!! I beg to differ. I still have an appointment with ENT before I consider aids. Hopefully, this will be hardly noticeable in a month or so. Or at least something I only think about much less often.

Hello Robin, its great seeing you're starting to feel slightly better! For what its worth, as long as you try your best to stay positive, tinnitus fades into the background over time. I feel like the sound is at its worst in the beginning due to the fact we cant stop listening to it.

I agree with you but the enormous VOLUME AND CONTINUOUS MONOTONOUS TONES are what can bring the most strongest person to their knees. God I hope there is a cure soon for this thing that comes from hell. I found God again, trust me on that one!!!! Thank you for your kind words. Appreciate it.
