Hi, you could just call me John. I'm 19 and noticed my T beginning out-of-the-blue four days ago in only my right ear. Throughout the next few days, it's perhaps spread to both and I can hear it very well over the sounds of moderately noisy rooms. I tried clearing my right ear out with some hydrogen peroxide, but now I have some sort of painful pressure inside of it a day later.
I don't really know what to say, but there hasn't been a day since that I haven't reduced myself to a weeping mess because of this. I suspect this T came about from many years of playing music and stuff through earbuds, which is a shame because I thought I had always been careful about volume. I really enjoyed my music and quiet time- needed it even- and now it has possibly been taken away from me for life.
I have to get up for class in six hours, but the thought of laying in bed to fall asleep is upsetting and stressful to me. As a result, I'm procrastinating on doing so by writing my first proper post, I guess.
I have an appointment with my family physician this Thursday. And I'll try to chat with you all in a better mood soon. Thanks.
