Same! These are lovely @Christiaan. This is such a wonderful thread.I love murals & street art! Especially the kind of art of that embraces kindness to all living beings & belief in progress
All of them Christiaan. I don't have a favourite style, but if I had to choose an era for art and architecture, I would probably say the late 19th to early 20th century.Ey Steph, that's a plethora of different styles, but which seems to draw most of your attention or interest as an art historian?

Ah alright, Steph! I also like arts dating from that era. I actually love French culture in large part because of post-impressionism (especially paintings by De Toulouse-Lautrec, Cézanne & Bonnard). If you ever want to visit Lille by Eurostar & you're a big fan of (post) impressionism, you should definitely go to Le Palais des Beaux-Arts. They have tons of those great artists, even Van Gogh!View attachment 45842

I was lucky enough to study in Austria. It was there I fell in love with the graphics and prints of the Secessionist movement - especially Koloman Moser's work (as above).
Do you have a favourite style or era?
I have never encountered this work of art before... I absolutely LOVE it!!Magnus Gjoen - Darkness of Life is Living Death
Why thank you.I see both Alfons Mucha and Gustav Klimt there, and some old masters. I like your taste of art.
