      Tinnitus Since:
      1974
      Cause of Tinnitus:
      acoustic trauma
      I'm 58 years old. Had tinnitus since I was a teen. It was caused by listening to very loud music through earphones. Tinnitus and hearing loss have been worsening gradually through the years. I google around every once in a while to see if there are any promising treatments yet. I still hope to experience silence before I die.

      head trama caused TMJ/neck problems/ETD
      Welcome! I hope some promising treatments will be available soon as well.

      Welcome to the forums! I know it sucks having this for so long but we can learn from you on how you cope. I have had it for 7.5 months and struggle daily.
