Yes, exactly!! I have been tinnitus free for 18 years ONLY because of Tinnitus Mix. It's not like I have a therapy but never had tinnitus, I have proved it works on me also! My tinnitus never flares up, it's totally silent unless I stop playing Tinnitus Mix for 2 weeks, in those 2 weeks it will slowly creep back in. But I sleep so well with it so I use it every night. So I have my life, my sleep, and golden silence like every human should have and enjoy. I just thought I would give this GIFT to all of you.

Maybe because a few nights in a row my dog woke me up around 4 am to go outside. She's old and has to pee a lot. I cannot fall back asleep usually when that happens so maybe it is the interruption. I didn't listen last night and slept fine and my tinnitus is low again this morning. So I have nooooooooo idea.

You are very welcome, keep going and don't skip a night for the 3 weeks or the tinnitus will try to reform.

I may still give it a shot but even with melatonin and a little CBD oil I'm still having a hard time getting uninterrupted sleep.

For those having trouble sleeping - even before introducing this sound... I have intrusive tinnitus.. my advice is you have to find a way. Configure the room for max comfort. I slept in a hotel last night and slept like a baby.

My configuration: Netflix by my bedside, iPhone with quiet rain noise under pillow, Bluetooth speaker playing fan noise in corner of room.
It seems absurd but I get to sleep.

What does your tinnitus sound like when you don't use Tinnitus Mix? Do you use something to keep Koss headphones on while you sleep?

If it worked, you wouldn’t be on here. You’d be dancing in the streets.

Tinnitus Mix was a funny coincidence for Case and a placebo for many others.

Thanks for trying Tinnitus Mix and giving your input, I find it interesting that your hyperacusis did not come back like your tinnitus. I had wondered about the connection between the two.

He did not get the Koss KTX-PRO1 headphones like you are supposed to, many do not follow instructions and then wonder why it did not work.

You should only do Tinnitus Mix if you do only it or you will not know what lowered you tinnitus, if you do 5 remedies at once it just adds questions.

I wasn't doing it the way you recommended. I have to disclose that. When my dumb dog gets up at 4-5 AM to go pee I just cannot fall back asleep with this on.

However, I did experience an elimination of noise sensitivity in my right ear while using this.

Meh, CBD is a placebo if that. It really did nothing for me at all and I took it for a few months, very expensive high grade stuff.

I’m thankful for the Tinnitus Mix... but in my opinion it simply suppresses the tinnitus and is temporary.
I can’t say it’s done anything... I know when I take the headphones off during the day for a second, I whistle past the graveyard... trying not to search for the tinnitus. Like someone said, the tinnitus is there, but it seems temporarily “walled off.”

Which is fine for me. There are so many sound therapies for sale, hearing aids, noise maskers... I’m literally wearing these 24/7 (minus a few minutes here or there). This gave me a jumpstart on becoming resigned that my ears are screwed forever.

This is simple, and helps my sanity during the day. If Koss were waterproof I could wear these in the shower! ;-)

I was asking you what your tinnitus reverts back to if you didn’t use Tinnitus Mix. Is it a static sound, high pitched, or maybe hissing. You answered my question by referring to someone else for some reason. I have more of a loud static sound.

I had a airplane barotrauma in 2008 that affected my left ear. Also TMJ disorder in my left jaw so I’m a bit confused. I never gave Tinnitus Mix a good try because of the headphones falling off as I toss and turn too much.

Isn't it awesome that we can't get a straightforward answer on why something like this would/could work? Where is the research? Shouldn't the research have an explanation as to why tinnitus even happens and why things like this help and why? Shouldn't these be questions that need to be answered BEFORE something like Lenire is commercialized?

Update: this did not work for me and may have even made my reactivity slightly worse. I quit also.

I do wonder if certain types/subtypes of tinnitus would respond better to this.

For reference: I have moderate tinnitus bilaterally with a very high pitched pure tone and a lower pitched (but still high) cicadas-type sound. There is some reactivity to my tinnitus which had gotten better before Tinnitus Mix, but has slightly worsened since. My tinnitus and hearing issues was due to Macrolide antibiotics.

I used the correct headphones and uses them as night as directed.

My tinnitus sounded just like the test of the emergency alert system, you know when you are listening to your car radio and that horrible electronic screeching sound comes over the radio. Or if you remember the old dial up internet, when you first connected, it would send that screeching over the computer speaker for a few seconds. Technically it is pulse code modulation. But Tinnitus Mix knocked it out and I have enjoyed silence every day and night for the past 18 years.

Yes at least Tinnitus Mix knocked out the hyperacusis, we have 5 people that say this sound stopped their hyperacusis. I had no idea Tinnitus Mix would work on that when I started this. These brave people could unlock the connection between hyperacusis and tinnitus. There has to be a common denominator between them because Tinnitus Mix knocks them both out in some people.
