Hello!

My Tinnitus started last Friday so only a week in.

I have ringing in both ears as well. When I swallow I feel pain in my ears, and feel a clicking, they can't pop! I also have post nasal drip.

I am spitting up mucus but it's clear, ears are also itchy! They feel like they are plugged!

Any ideas or suggestions!

I was thinking maybe a neti pot.

@sneakinsally ,
Welcome to Tinnitus Talk.
It sounds like it's allergy related and your sinuses playing up with post nasil drip.
A good sign for allergies is itchy ears and also itchy feeling in your throat.

At night the post nasil drip can go down the back of your throat and clog up your eustation tubes and cause tinnitus.
A strong antihistamine and a steroid nasil spray taken regularly will settle everything down.
I have the same problem.

love glynis

When I sawllow I can hear it in my ears.. my sinus are either dry or thick mucus. All of my mucus is white though. Ears so itchy...nose so stuffy....

should i go to my PCP or right to an ENT?

@sneakinsally ,
Your doctor should be able sort this out..

Give the antihistamine and steroid nasil spray time to work and build up in your system about 5 days you should see an improvement .

love glynis

It also seems that I am sensative to loud sounds...

Interesting. This is called hyperacusis. I've had further development of this but have been unsure how. I have had similar problems however. Please let me know how you are feeling after following the advice in this thread for a bit.

ugh this is a terrible time for allergies, I have all this too. Mine was noise induced but this is all making it worse! ive been taking Yeast cleanse because candida can make allergies worse and honestly I think it's helping.
