I have a chronic stuffy nose for a while now, always the left nostril and this also happens to be the ear where I have tinnitus, now I have tinnitus for 4 years and gotten pretty used to it by now, but lately it is acting up and spiking a lot for some reason, oddly enough sometimes when I blow my nose the spike immediately settles down for awhile.

Now my question is: can a stuffy nose make your tinnitus worse, or even create it?

      Thanks :)

Yes a sinus problem can cause and spike tinnitus.
Try a nasil spray...got the same problem.

Funnt. When I get a cold my tinnitus worsens but my sound tolerance improves.
