Tinnitus "Relief Wand" in Gadget Catalogue

Christmas is coming, so catalogs are hitting the mailbox. While browsing Hammacher (a general gadget catlogue), I was amused to find a "Tinnitus Wand": http://www.hammacher.com/Product/88273

The reviews on the website itself speak for themselves. Two people said it helped, the majority didn't. I can see how a vibrating wand might take people's mind off their T, but not by using it in the ear area...

 

I wish...

 

I suggest the noise kills it for about one minute after stopping.....try this press your forefinger on the small ear flaps near the ear canal and really seal close up the hole. with your second finger tap on the forefingers nails a few hundred times it will sound a bit tight drummy, Afterwards you may find your ear pressure if you have it and T had calmed right down it will last about a minute

 

Wish I had a magic wand to wish everyone's tinnitus away... .not sure about this wand....

Whenever symptoms occur lolololol. My t is a hard worker and never takes a break.

 

Kind of surprised... Mainstream catalog Hammacher Schlemmer had this. My husband showed it to me. It didn't get great reviews but it seemed like it could have worked for a couple people... And you can return it if you aren't thrilled.

I ordered it. I have nothing to lose. i can send it back if it doesn't work and if it does it might be the best $80 I ever spent!

 

It says up to 18 hours of relief. Who knows

so it was backordered twice. Wasn't supposed to get it until March so I canceled the order. So um..alot of people can find vibrating things in their home. In case they want to try.
