Meniere's Disease
Well I have had a jaw problem with a crunching and cracking jaw 34 years.
Through my teens had to wear a mouth plate all the time .
In my 40's was sent to another maxillofacial specialist and new mouth guard made .
Today going refur me again as its way to bad and needs something doing.
He said they might try botox in my jaw or surgery so just got wait see what they say in a few weeks when get seen again.
As anyone had jaw treatment ?...lots of love glynis

Glynis,i have had a 24/7 splint that i wore for a few months, but it seemed like it made my tinnitus and my jaw worse.. i havent worn it for about 2 weeks and my jaw till crunchy as it has been for years... do you have any pain? i used to not have any pain in jaws but i did get some while wearing splint. now its not to bad.. but my jaw has crunched for years as well... please keep me informed on what you are going to do...i paid 3,000 for the splint made by a NM dentist and i feel it was a waste like everything else i have tried to ease my tinnitus .i hope you have better luck at at something to ease symptoms than i did ...!!

Hi jeannie,
I get jaw and face ache along with the crunching so hope he can make me a new mouth guard like my old 24/7 one as my night one is a bit to bulky for day use but going try keep it in for a while see if it helps....lots of love glynis

Tight temporalis muscle that needs unwound, massage downward circle motion toward cheek bone. Scalenes next lay on your side to get to these.

i put my splint in tonight (i havent used in awhile because it didnt seem to help) and my tinnitus went through the roof:(..took it back out. almost felt like the splint i had in for around 2 hours was shoving something into a nerve and ears were sizzling high pitched..

Well I have got some wonderful news.
I have had to have two side/back teeth out and had two teeth on a plate.....but the thing is my jaw has stopped cracking and crunching now it's been put in .
Now no need for a operation or wear my mouth guard...smiling for England....lots of love glynis
