I had a major spike yesterday night. Seriously, it was horrifying. But it made me realize how much I've improved since the onset. A lot. Nov 19, 2017 at 9:37 AM

@Tinker Bell oh, thank you for being this nice and thoughtful <3 I still feel like in a roller coaster, one day %80 of my problems are gone, other day they are back with full force. Trying not to analyze too much and to keep myself busy.

Well, for the interview, they haven't called me back yet but...I try to keep my hope alive :)

@Tinker Bell And yes! I have actually started to hear more and more stories like that and I believe it is more than true that once people get better, they just don't try to inform other sufferers. They just move on. They are not on this website, they are outside, living beautiful lives.

Is it normal to feel like 'oh it improved a lot' when you first go into silent rooms, then after 30 minutes 'no, fuck, no change at all'.

Maybe it seems like that because you focus on your T. too much. Sometimes im in a silent room and think: the T. doesn't sound so loud today, than i focus on it and it sounds louder again

Yes, I think so....I have a hard time noticing change in my T, I cycle between "its gotten better", "its the same", and "its a little worse" several times a week, sometimes even several times a day.

@Rosemerry Due to the awesomeness of residual inhibition, I'm a bit better but I think my T is getting reactive nowadays.. Everytime I get back home from outside, it is WAY louder. I'm scared and I hope I don't develop H on top of all of that.

I've noticed mine seems louder after being out for the day, too, but I often attribute that to simply that I've been busy and in an environment where my T is better ignored because my mind is occupied.

Actually I've completed the sessions a week ago. They give 10 sessions only, and if you feel ok, it is ok, if you don't feel any better still, then it means it will not be effective anyways.

Yes, amazing right? I was even able to read in total silence..But the problem is, it didn't last so long...But thats the reality with my T. It has always been like this. Also, they said the impact of those sessions will continue for 1,5-2 months and the brain will try to rewire itself in this period. So, it is so soon to say something good or bad.

I already had 10 rTMS sessions. Although it seems like it decreased my T to a level of nearly %98) silent for a while, it still fluctuates and I was improving ,even if it was little by little, before rTMS sessions, so I can't be sure if they worked or not.

I genuinely believe there will be effective treatments in 5 years. I personally talked to 2 people , their T disappeared with rTMS sessions. 3 people, their T decreased %70-90t they habituated quickly. They are now trying to increase the effectiveness of rtms and individualize it.
