I noticed it being reduced to a small mosqiuto sound and I kept doing the valsula movement which now I know was dangerous to do, but I did it once and felt a very loud pop + pain in the ear that had T and later that day it went away and so far has been gone.

I would consider a 20 dB drop to be pretty successful. That's about a 90% drop in volume.

They have a big PA system there and people probably yelling in the seats behind you. They'll be a lot of traffic in the parking on the way out and probably cars honking horns at each other while you are walking to your car.

I don't know what your tinnitus is like or what you can handle.

It doesn't get bad for everyone, but it's just more common in older people and people with hearing loss. I wouldn't worry too much decades into the future and just take precautions against noise trauma.

@Pixelito no no type of spikes from what I can tell I would say a .5. I can mask it with a simple tik tok video on the lowest setting (iphone speakers) or going for a walk in a silent neighborhood.

@Blue Crab Just a bit, but its really low and I fall asleep perfectly fine. It seems to go away if I just sleep on the ear that has t.
