Finished two business trips in two weeks. A year ago at this time I wasn't sure I'd ever be able to go again. Ended the last trip with a fun night of karaoke, wearing my earplugs. I'm grateful for all life has given me.
Hey marqualler, I've been looking through your posts and have been finding a lot of inspiration from you as a newbie tinnitus sufferer! Only being 23, I haven't found many people around me who understand and people like you make me feel a lot less alone and a lot more hopeful! I just wanted to reach out and let you know! Here's to a gentle and quiet 2025!!!
Happy (USA) Thanksgiving, TT community! Learned from my dad today he has had tinnitus for several years and his got worse from Covid. Sure would have been nice to know from him several years ago . Nice to have a family member who knows what it's like, though.
I took this year's flu and Covid boosters on Thursday afternoon. My tinnitus was spiked a bit Thursday night and Friday, but today (Saturday) it is back to my baseline. I'm grateful for health care that protects me from getting seriously ill from viruses!
Six months since my tinnitus worsening, plus ten years since joining Tinnitus Talk. Grateful that my tinnitus has become less intrusive since worsening, and grateful for the wonderful people and great community here!
Went to a Timberwolves game and stayed for the whole thing for the first time in months. Wore heavy duty plugs, didn't have any serious after-effects. Feels good.
Hey Marq, How goes the summer for you and your family? I hope tinnitus is not
being to much of a hindrance to you these days. It seems as time goes on it is easier to endure this affliction.
Hey Marq, Hows life treating you these days. I personally have had a
decent stretch with the T, I have had 7 out of 11 days completely good.
Thats about as good as it gets for me most of the time.
Your a blessed man Marq to have a nice son. Enjoy these next ten or so years
because they go by so fast. My little one is 26 now. Where do the years go.
