I was thinking about this Saturday whilst I was lying there spending another £35. How often can you do it? Seems to last about 48 hours for me.

I find significant relief from acupuncture. It lowers my volume within hours of treatment. I also have cranial sacral modality as well which is equally effective. I would not go to just any acupuncturist/cranial sacral practitioner. Not all of them are good at what they do.

Is the spot size of the NeoRhythm too large, or should it be placed differently on the ear or head? Also, where is the auditory cortex located in relation to the ear?

Is it possible your tinnitus resolved due to the muscle relaxant rather than the acupuncture?

I've been thinking the same thing. Although acupuncture is very complicated there should be certain safe points to do self-acupuncture on, especially if you would get an experienced practitioner to tell you what points to use so you're doing an informed decision.

When I have spikes they can sometimes last for a number of weeks; it may be that you just need more time. I'm sorry that you're having trouble from something that was sought out to provide relief. This makes me really rethink my curiosity on getting acupuncture for tinnitus.

...ototoxic but from all my reading and talking with my ENT it would take massive amounts over a long time. In the cases that NSAIDs cause tinnitus they have told me stopping them would help. For relief, try acupuncture and CBT. These changed my life and helped with my tinnitus massively.

There's a description of this point on THIS VIDEO at about the 8:00 minute mark. I do self-acupuncture regularly, and do the crown point 3-4 times a week (and many others). Self-acupuncture is super easy--and super inexpensive.
