@Arianaj, It definitely sounds like a nasal problem and could be down to allergies. When you go to bed you can get post nasal drip going down the back of your throat that enters your eustachian tubes. You might get a snotty taste in your mouth as a symptom. The nasal spray will help. Love...

It's a bit more nuanced than that: there are 2 kinds of "Sudafed" for congestion. One of them has been the target of the FDA's advisory. As far as I can tell, the other one (which requires showing ID to the pharmacist) has not been deemed to be ineffective. This matches my experience as well...

Ive suspected that my seasonal allergies that causes post nasal drainage, dryness and irritation in the throat to cause a sore throat and possibly irritate Eustachian tubes resulting in increased T.

How do we know it's allergies causing ear burning and not a damaged cochlea? Could an infection inside the cochlea being causing this? You need to find a good doctor to investigate, there's nothing we can do but speculate.
