How to Cope with Irregular Tinnitus Sounds?

...stable tinnitus. I’ve tried every supplement and sound therapy known to man, but the only things that have had any effect for me have been Clonazepam, Gabapentin, and Lidocaine patches worn on the back of the neck. Both drugs are a bit of a serious step for managing tinnitus, and many GPs may...

All I know is I'd still have a livable level of tinnitus and some sound tolerance if I hadn't been pushed to take Clonazepam everyday. You probably build tolerance and get worse. I would stay away from all drugs if I were you. If you can live without drugs and eat a low inflammation diet and...

Yes, my situation was quite unusual. I had catastrophic hyperacusis. Many lives have been lost and ruined by benzos; especially tinnitus sufferers who made the mistake of being on Clonazepam daily. I am stuck at 1.5 mg daily and I have worse tinnitus than I could have ever imagined being able to live with. I wish more people were like you and advocated for...

Yeah the COVID-19 vaccine worsened his tinnitus. Klonopin (Clonazepam) taper caused the nasty tones. He said he was somewhat doing better before the Klonopin too. @IntotheBlue03, Diazepam has a longer half-life than Clonazepam. Because of this, it can be great for sleep. For me, it does have an effect on my fatigue, so I end up sleeping too much - it works. Clonazepam seems to be the most widely used for tinnitus, but there do seem to be some horror...

A lot of people take Clonazepam for years with no issues. If you come off gradually, then there really isn’t an issue. It’s when you stop cold turkey that it’s a problem and even then, if you’re only taking like 1 mg, nothing will happen.
