I thought Warren(?) said she was Native American?

I don't follow this stuff...

 

She got a DNA test and it came back negative for being NA.

Also I don’t think so her polls took a nosedive.

 

Why the hell would someone claim to be something they are not? Or did she really believe she was?

 

Sadly, political gain. She probably actually did think she was because she took a DNA test to prove Donald Trump wrong. That’s what backfired and how we know she’s not.

 

She's from Oklahoma, they are among those who have the highest percentage of Native Americans and their descendants. It's possible she just assumed she was one of them since it is a lot more common there.

 

Agree, I doubt she would have taken the DNA test voluntarily if she didn't believe it herself.

 

I suppose if she grew up being told she was by her family then she may have never questioned it.

Still, makes her look like a fool.

He's probably referring to Elizabeth Warren, who had made claims of Native American ancestry, based on stories she'd heard about her family ancestry while growing up in Oklahoma. She eventually had a test done, and it turned out she only has about 3-4% Native American DNA, which is a similar percentage of people all around the world who have Neanderthal DNA, which according to my understanding, ranges from around 2-4%.

 

I'm poor so I support Bernie.

I have a hard time believing that endorsements from Beto and Buttigieg could carry this much weight.

You don’t parade as the first woman of color to graduate from Harvard Law School without verifying your heritage. Further, her refusal to drop out is supremely screwing Bernie. She and her supporters are not only utterly delusional but deliberately obstructive to the socialist agenda.

Many of us in those states are not happy with this either.

I guess Americans get the choice between two corporatist leaders who are both showing early signs of dementia.

On top of that, I seriously doubt Biden can beat Trump. He has nothing to offer a struggling people other than "I'm not Trump" which isn't enough.

 

When Warren drops out and endorses Biden, people will realize the DNC decides elections, not the people.

She’s not dropping out, she’s actually still campaigning in Michigan, Arizona etc. because she doesn’t need to further redpill people about the state of the DNC after how much support Biden gained from the Buttigieg/Klobuchar endorsements.

That's the party line but who knows. The stock market was doing great while Bernie was ahead before the virus news.

It's actual more probable to me that the decrease in new cases in Wuhan (after all China is a major supplier to US industry) has more to do with it since the virus news is what tanked the market to begin with.

Regardless, you aren't going to get a very nuanced answer from network news.

And yes, unfortunately this means imo Trump will likely win.

 

Today the market did great. The Dow is up 4,5%.

Any news that come from China are monitored and approved by their government, so one cannot really rely on their "data".

The conditions in most Cuban hospitals are beyond grim. I would take their claims of curing cancer and HIV transmission with a 20 lb bag of salt.

 

I think she used it to land her high profile teaching gig at Harvard.

 

If I were from the USA, I would vote for Bernie as well. We already have guaranteed health care for all here in practically all of Europe. It turns out to be cheaper than without it, and it provides a better living standard.

 

Regardless of whether she tried to play the system or not, why didn't Harvard, one of the best universities in the world, question her about this? Or can anybody identify as who they want nowadays.

I've decided I'm full on viking. I have more viking DNA in me than she does Native American DNA.

 

Are you sure about that?

Edit: What I mean is that I'm sure she did it for political "cool points" but did it actually affect hiring? I don't think grad schools had those kind of quotas (unlike undergrad) until very recently.
