Could be negative but maybe it's two different types of investor. The 'for profit' type and then the for the benefit of the world type. Money rules though so who knows. The fact there is an IPO is only going to be positive though. The company will want/need to show results soon enough. It's encouraging.

Once it goes live, you can Google "freq stock price" and you should be able to find it in real time.

IBB (biotech index) is down in pre-market, and a few biotech I looked at individually are down today, too. May predict a lower than expected opening if the sector stays down for the day.

.... So we now came to the point that we are so desperate that we use the stock price as a predictor for FX-322' s success. This will be an interesting thread the upcoming years :)

God I hope it's good news, even though I'm a newbie with milder tinnitus, I'm still having debilitating days from panic attacks (usually every 4-5 'ok' days to 1 bad at the moment).

Can someone give me a brief explanation of where FX-322 is at the moment? My understanding is we're awaiting phase 2 results that involve a slightly longer/higher treatment process?

We are still waiting for official phase 1b results. They are about to start phase 2a, in which they will test multiple doses, high frequency hearing response and tinnitus. It will take an entire year from about now.

More like 20 months. Results are expected first half of 2021. We’ll get the Audion and CGF-166 results before that. If they improve hearing and quiet tinnitus, that tells us something about what drugs like FX-322 might do. And let’s not forget the phase 1/2 results of OTO-413.

The US government sent thousands of soldiers to the Middle East to fight and die over blatant lies and then one of the biggest corporations in the world gave them shitty earplugs which caused them to fuck their ears. THEY should be paying for these types of drugs to be developed and expedited as fast as humanly possible. Instead, we have a process in which a 3 month trial takes over a year, and there are many of these trials, and they don't go in parallel. We also have a pricks like the ATA and BTA that don't even give a shit about these drugs or advocating for us in any way, they are just CBT and TRT pushers. And then the icing on the cake is that there are sufferers that have total faith in this overblown and drawn out process and will attack you for even criticizing it. Western civilization as a whole is a crock of crap, especially America.

Look man, I hear you. Honestly, I’m not expecting this drug before 2025. Phase IIb will probably start second half of 2021, with results probably first half of of 23. Then they have to do a phase III, which takes even longer, maybe two years, analyze results and get it approved. If it doesn’t achieve what they want, they might have to do a phase IIIb.

The good news is, I’m confident something will hit the market the next 5-10 years that will finally treat sensorineural hearing loss. That’s never been done before, and is basically one of the holy grails of medicine.

Why not get a decision maker at Frequency on the Tinnitus Talk Podcast and ask him/her if they are willing to introduce an expanded use program for patients that suffer most from hearing loss and/or tinnitus and, if not, why?

Why can't they just do that themselves. I'm sure they are 100% aware that there is a huge urgent need for therapies like this.

Why would they give their drugs for free if no one asks? Thinking like a capitalist here...

Put them on the hot seat. They know hearing loss affects quality of life big time and is increasingly linked to dementia. Why not start an expanded use program for the most severe cases?

I might not be the best one to ask such a thing. I fully support someone else doing this.

I’m not advocating for an individual to ask this (at first). You’ll just get a standard reply. We need to ask them publicly, like on the Tinnitus Talk Podcast.

If they are willing to participate, an ENT can then ask for the drug under the program and explain why the patient qualifies.

Audion will release results early 2020 and the CGF-166 trial ends this month so I suppose that won’t take long. One of the doctors involved in the CGF-166 trial already said that the drug seems to work best on people “who still have some hearing left”. So I suppose they succeeded in growing some hair cells in some of the patients involved.
