The Galtee Mountains looking back after a long walk yesterday.

 

Awww man, what a beautiful part of the world...

 

Yesterday it was 12 degrees, this morning it's white.

 

It's one of those places if you've got no mountain experience it's best not to try trekking them. Those in the picture can be very dangerous. But the view from the top is amazing.

 

The Mrs purchased me a new hat. Born and raised outdoors. Says I look like Uncle Cy.

 

The sphere in Glendalough. Very few remain. This one is still complete. They were built for protection. The people of the monasteries, when being attacked and raided of valuable objects, climbed up by rope. Once inside, they pulled the rope up, making it impossible to get in.

 

Another mountain walk, looking down into the upper lake and trail into the old miners village at Glendalough.

I'm not sure whether this is an invitation to clarify. The New Toy is a teleconverter, pictured inside the blue frame.

 

Stand strong, firm and rooted like a solid tree. Though distractions may cause you to waver, remain balanced and calm. Otherwise, you will surely snap in half and fall to the ground at the slightest hint of difficulty.

Be a filter, not a sponge. Learn to remove unnecessary junk from your life before it becomes a part of who you are. Stand tall, stand proud, keep your eyes and your body focused.

Otherwise, you will blow away with the slightest gust of wind.

This was right after my brother's wedding in Colorado several years ago. Drove 3 hours to Estes Park/Rocky Mountain National Park to be met with this view. The thought of being able to witness a picturesque landscape like this in my off time is what keeps me going!

 

I'll present myself. I am Constantin, 27 y.o. I don't want to whine about how much tinnitus has taken away from me, since I guess it happens to everyone with severe tinnitus. I look a lot at old photos just to remember how happy I was and how I didn't appreciate healthiness as much as I should. Life is (was) beautiful...

Here are some pics.

The first one was in 2020, at Montseny mountain, in Spain. The other 2 were from 2021 july, mountain-biking. Last photo was also mountain-biking, reaching a mountain called Tibidabo. Like @Matt G, when I see these pictures, they make me want to fight, to be able to recover and live again at least a somewhat decent life... This condition truly changed me, a lot. Although, almost all days I feel beat up (I bet everyone would, with my severity). I hope I win, although as you can read about my posts, I am in a really bad spot, suffering tremendously.

I am really grateful for this forum. You guys understand what I am going through, and you give me support to keep fighting this monster, which I will with all my strength. Really, thanks for reading me and for the support.
