I've talked in a recent thread about a spike I've been going through where I hadn't been sure of the cause.
There was a loud sound I was exposed to (watching a streaming video on my phone at 35-40% which was still very loud). I think it would make more sense that I got a tinnitus spike from my cold but it's been my hyperacusis that's bothering me more, making my tinnitus super reactive, making sounds that I was previously fine with hurt my ear (previously ear pain was very rare), and pretty much getting tension type headaches that aren't painful but make my skin feel like it's crawling whenever it's not silent.
It has been admittedly almost two weeks now and I feel like I worsen instead of improving.
