Where Is Bill Bauer?

I haven't seen him on in a while, he hasn't posted... kinda worried. Has anyone been in contact with him? Hope he is doing well and happy.

 

I have been thinking the same thing @coffee_girl Bill and I occasionally disagree but often he has some interesting things to say about tinnitus and life in general. I await his return in haste and hope his ears are now burning, as we say on this side of the pond.

I was starting to miss your banter with @Bill Bauer as well.

To be honest I was thinking the same thing because I had a question for him regarding a dental procedure I have coming. I hope he is well and returns soon.

 

I think that @Bill Bauer has finally realized that he has chronic T.

 

I don't mean to make light of the matter but I have always said: When tinnitus is severe the last thing a person wants to do is posting messages. I hope Bill is well and that his tinnitus is not giving him too much trouble.

 

Bill has taken long hiatuses before while traveling. Perhaps he is again traveling.

 

I'm not worried about him. He's posted leas over time. His mind is probably not on T right now. He's probably getting on with his life. If so, good for him.

 

I sent him a PM a while back, I noticed he never answered, then I began to notice he wouldn't get on this website. I've been wondering the same thing, I wonder how he's doing. I hope he moved on with his life and he's doing good.

Well I, for one, would like to sincerely thank @Bill Bauer for preaching noise avoidance for those of us with severe Tinnitus.
What you had to say struck me as the gospel, and I believe in the importance of your message to this day.
You were instrumental in making me rethink my career.
Quite simply - it had to go.

I mean, yes, but he is one of the last members I would suspect to do that. He has always seemed very emotionally stable.

Yes, and there are three other reasons: they get used to their tinnitus, their tinnitus lessens, or their tinnitus goes away.

Yep, I look back to when I first joined 2016, and there's not a lot of people around from that time that were frequent posters. Looks like the average is 3ish years

 

Bill says he doesn't socialize...maybe he hooked up with someone on TT??

I've had a couple of conversations with Bill Bauer (Gave me great advice), and from what i've observed, he's an intelligent very stable guy. Never complaint about his T and gave me the impression he's managing it just fine. He's probably got things to do and hasn't got time to be on Ttalk. Maby he's taking a temporal break.. who knows but i'm pretty sure he hasn't done anything stupid.

 

You actually made me LOL. Given his viewpoint on relationships, a cure for tinnitus is more likely.

 

Maybe if he gets a GF we'll get fixed up soon after. THE CURE FOR T IS LOVE

No I didn't mean suicide. Members can move on for positive reasons too and that's more common. Only Bill knows.

My tinnitus is gone but I'm still round and kicking.
