When I have spikes they can sometimes last for a number of weeks; it may be that you just need more time. I'm sorry that you're having trouble from something that was sought out to provide relief. This makes me really rethink my curiosity on getting acupuncture for tinnitus.

Wow, I have the EXACT same sounds! :) I also tried acupuncture a couple of times but it didn't really work for me. My physiotherapist then needled some trigger points in my neck, shoulders and face and THAT HURT LIKE HELL! Acupuncture didn't hurt at all.

...ototoxic but from all my reading and talking with my ENT it would take massive amounts over a long time. In the cases that NSAIDs cause tinnitus they have told me stopping them would help. For relief, try acupuncture and CBT. These changed my life and helped with my tinnitus massively.

Acupuncture did nothing for me at all. I really don’t fully buy into the science of it either though ..

My insurance covers 10 acupuncture visit per year. Might be worth a look to see if there's any good acupuncturists in my area.

I think it's a combination of supplements, acupuncture, and time. I have definitely healed since its onset.

There is a sure treatment for tinnitus by Acupuncture if the person who is going to treat know properly

Bagpipes do a good job of masking tinnitus. Only bad thing is, you have to listen to bagipes. Off to waste money on acupuncture.

Brian Newman swears by it and he has one of the worst cases of noxacusis in the country.
