Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

For folks who are hopeful about Dr. Shore's device and skeptical about Lenire, why is that? They seem like very similar devices. I know Dr. Shore's study was far more rigorous. But it still only worked for 60% of people and the amount it reduced symptoms was quite variable for that group...

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

The problem is that with such high THI, a mild improvement is sort of meaningless. So it is only meaningful if it had a dramatic impact. I’ve never heard anyone describe that sort of dramatic benefit from using Lenire.

Thiamine Pyrophosphate (TPP) Stopped My Tinnitus!

I also don't trust anything the user @Clare B said about Lenire — it's a very suspicious profile. Tinnitus Talk staff should filter these kinds of false hope spreaders/advertisers in the future. I am adamant that both @Mpt and @kelpiemsp are fraudulent profiles.

I have started to suspect that many fraudulent accounts report success with drugs or other methods here on Tinnitus Talk. Sorry to hear your tinnitus continued to worsen. I know the feeling. I recommend reading the Lenire reviews on Tinnitus Talk. It's a habituation device that doesn't look promising for reducing tinnitus volume. The Auricle / Dr. Shore device has a better chance of lowering tinnitus, although...

Did you go for Lenire? What results have you had, if any? I have it available near me, but the $4950 cost is a little much of a chance to take. I was ready to jump on the bandwagon, but I hesitated because of all the negative reports I have read on Tinnitus Talk.

Thank you but I highly doubt that. The tones the device plays are very quiet; about 5-10 decibels. By comparison a whisper is 30 decibels. I still do not get the premise behind Lenire. It sounds like a bunch of nonsense. Is it supposed to make everything louder so tinnitus is "drowned" better? That sounds like inducing hyperacusis and makes no sense whatsoever. At least the premise behind Dr. Shore's device makes sense.
