Already in touch with my somatic physical therapist and getting an undershave to try the TENS unit on C2. Wonder what I can dig up on the forum in regards to this. :)

C1 / C2 isn't necessarily atlas. If there is something stuck work gently on it. It's necessary that the muscles aren't tight. This can be done by training your upper back muscles also.

No that’s a good question. Me and my Chiro before the car accident thought my neck was causing the issues. I had subluxation in C1 and C2. Maybe it helped 5%? Nothing to really go crazy about though. Pretty sure it was ear damage from barotrauma, probably a PLF. Not sure at this point.

Have you ever tried TENS on the C2 region yourself? I have a TENS device myself, but its not working.. Maybe Ill have to order another one :P Im also trying out some meds at the moment to see if anything helps. Ill probably try out retigabine as well :)

this is not optical power - its only the power drawn by the LED , if the efficiency is 25%then the optical power in w/c2 is far less which may be the case here

^ yes, that theory about DCN makes sense. It's also backed up by studies like using TENS machine to C2 in neck, which is discussed in another thread here. TENS (electricity) supresses T for some patients 100%.

Yes - With a jaw problem and being somatic C1 C2 scanning would be helpful. A scan over your jaw would also help. The L4 L5 may involve an injury such as falling, lifting something off balance with arms extended or bad posture.

I had a cervical MRI half a year ago, I have slight degenerative changes I had an MRI of my neck on March (had numbness in my hands back then) and it showed that my C5-C6 are dehydrated and have shortened + but the other vertebrae are fine... :dunno:

Just updating on my C2-C3 nerve block test injections on April 10th. Wouldn't an MRI or ct scan show if your atlas is out of alignment?I had those and xrays and it didn't show anything wrong as far as c1 or c2 being messed up. but I went to a nucca and of course it was out .
