I would bring that, in case the noise cancelling headphones stop working. It would not be easy (although not impossible) to wear Peltor muffs for 15 hours straight. They are not nearly as comfortable as the noise cancelling headphones.

I wear Peltor muffs. When I drive on the highway, I wear Bose noise cancelling headphones. I doubt those things will offer much protection against an airbag. In fact, noise cancelling headphones might actually make things worse.

Well, you know, there's a reason they are called "noise cancelling" ;) They allow you to listen at low volume since they cancel the external sounds, so you don't have to crank up the volume to drown them.
