I’ve had very mild t for 15 years. I got covid in 2021 and two weeks after testing positive I got all new noises and reactivity and it’s been a roller coaster since then with it. I’m slowly getting better at dealing with it emotionally. I think when I’m ready to start dating again I’ll be...

Will You Get Vaccinated for Coronavirus (COVID-19)? Can It Make Tinnitus or Hyperacusis Worse?

I got COVID-19, and was unvaccinated. I had severe hyperacusis and tinnitus previously, and neither of these conditions was altered in any way by COVID-19.

Immunological and Antigenic Signatures Associated with Chronic Illnesses, Including Tinnitus, After COVID-19 Vaccination

My sympathy. The brand of vaccine might have played a role, the company that manufactured that particular vaccine. In situations like this, where a new virus emerges and multiple vaccines become available, it is often only afterward that we learn which one may have had unintended effects.

Tinnitus for 3 Months: Unsure of Cause, Struggling to Accept

Just wanted to mention, since you asked about anti-inflammatory supplements, that if your tinnitus is due to the COVID-19 booster you might want to try Curcumin (inhibits TNF-alpha); it was suggested to me by an ENT who specializes in tinnitus. I'm trying it -- I'll keep you posted if I notice a...

Low Steady Tinnitus for 15+ Years from Loud Music, Made Worse by COVID-19 Infection / Booster

I never said the risk was greater, however, if I can get COVID-19 regardless of whether I am vaccinated, then why would I bother taking the risk of the vaccination? Just seems like common sense to me. I’ve been really stressed about getting COVID-19. I’m not some hardcore anti-vaxer. It’s just...

    2024 US Presidential Election

Biden had shots and boosters six times and caught COVID-19 three times. As far as the 700,000 deaths under his watch, he should have resigned in disgrace, but he never even apologized. I hope he stays in the race. He deserves to be defeated in November, as well as see his son prosecuted and...

Naturally, those who blame Trump for all of Biden's failures will say that this was somehow Trump's fault.

Listened to Loud Music for Years, Used Earbuds for a Year — Struck with (Worsening) Tinnitus

Hey, as for the anti-vaxx recommendation, COVID-19 frequently causes increased tinnitus and hearing loss, plus all other forms of "long COVID-19", I know, COVID-19 is disease from hell, I thought I was going to die, and my son also the same. We all vaccinated here, if it weren't for vaccine, it...

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection with Pre-Existing Tinnitus

This is exactly my story. I got COVID-19 for the first time in early August. Then 11 days after positive test I had my excellent habituation disappear. Back to loud un-ignorable ringing. It’s been almost 6 weeks and nothing has improved.

After 3+ years of managing to avoid it, finally tested positive for COVID-19 23rd December after feeling unwell from the day before. Let down by a momentary lapse of vigilance by a family member.
