I'm not aware of a good justification for it given its operating costs. We should be examining every facet of public spending for waste, fraud, and abuse.

For other countries, the average tariffs for the U.S. in 2024 were about 2.5%; now they stand at about 17%.

It's possible he's not overstating the possibility of very sharp drug price decreases. Americans are paying astronomical prices for many medications - far more than the citizens of other countries.

I'm satisfied with his performance so far in his second term.

The demand for tariffed products will decrease if manufacturers pass the tariffs on to American consumers. They can make less profit, or lose their business in America. It's their choice.

Look at the figures. It's a huge tax on American consumers. And to bring much of the manufacturing to the U.S. will take many years and will cost even more. There's no winning with Trump. It keeps getting worse.

We don't need their products, even if what you say is true.

I don't care one iota if luxury foreign car sales suffer in the United States as a result of tariffs. We need to focus on American factories and the employment opportunities they provide. Many foreign companies are already planning to open more factories in the United States, in the near future.

Other countries put high tariffs on the U.S., and have unfair rules, but now there will be a differnt approach, thanks to Trump. They can peddle their products elsewhere, if our new terms cut profits or are otherwise unacceptable.

Most people with TDS will not agree with anything that Trump does, and will remain in denial no matter how successful he is.
