Chit Chat and All That...

That's a nice looking set of wheels. What fuel is it? Am on the market for a new car but can't decide between petrol, diesel, hybrid or electric.

 

What? It happens in telenovelas all the time.

One minute you're about to get married to the man of your dreams and the next you find out that he's your brother or even worse... your father!

So yeah, the DNA thing is tricky.

 

Diesel with our ears?

Not the best choice...

 

It's a Toyota Yaris Cross Luna Sport, petrol hybrid, self-charging, with fuel economy at 75 to 100 miles on a gallon of fuel. Automatic gear box. €32,000 EUR with all the bells. Highly recommend going hybrid, this puts out 116 horsepower in petrol, 114 in electric mode.

Soon as the wife realizes there's no 5 speed gearbox, she keeps wanting to shift gears. There are no gears, only forward or reverse, and no clutch. Noticing her left leg going up and down to shift gears.

 

Sounds like a nice spec. Will take a look.

PS - make sure to keep your seatbelt tight when the missus is driving coz you know what'll happen - one day she'll go for the non-existent clutch and stamp on the brake lol.

@aura - fair point. To be honest the diesel is an outlier, but if I do go fully electric it'll need to be something with a decent range and no overnight stop for a recharge lol. Maybe hybrid's the way to go...

My car isn't diesel, but has a GDI engine so it sounds like one.

 

One reason as to no electric, the range isn't enough. The self charging hybrid batteries are good for 15 years, and under warranty until that time. I don't see that in electric. Plus the hybrid is really quiet.

Toyota makes excellent hybrid cars. They are very efficient, and they last. In the long run it is great value for money.

 

That's why we went Toyota hybrid. We were driving a Nissan Micra, too small and not efficient. Nissan doesn't make a hybrid, only mild hybrid. Toyota has a 15 year warranty on the batteries. So far we've used about 1 litre of petrol. An amazing car

 

That's a very strong selling point right off the bat.

I had a dream that @Steph1710 came to visit the States and we were going to meet up, like a secret hook up? I don’t know lol, all I know is whenever we tried to meet, things kept falling apart or going wrong. Not sure why I had that dream. Just thought I would share lol.

I had a dream last night that I was trying to film this band and the lead singer was having to repeat the same line of the song over and over again for some reason - it was really annoying, but he was hot as fuck, so I didn’t mind too much.

The other night, I was so bored in my dream, that I decided to go to bed to pass the time hahaha. Think it was my brain telling me to go out and start living again.

 

Dreams are just naturally odd and don’t make sense.

But yeah doesn’t matter any dream I have. Wife, celebrity crush, stranger... I never score lol.

I was just kidding. I know my ancestors were either from Germany or a country nearby. I thought you had to have someone do a lot of research to figure out your family tree going back say 100 -200 years. I’m white and American. I wonder if British think Americans have an accent? I sometimes wonder where my last name originated.

 

I usually score and it’s great.

However, there seems to be a running theme... someone is trying to kill me, and I offer sexual favours to stop them lol. Also, I often get off with Rob in my dreams - so that’s kinda sweet.

One annoying thing though, my proper celebrity crushes, I almost never get it on with. I dream about them, but in my dreams, there are always ignoring me. Or, they speak to someone prettier and better than me.

Quite easy in England to trace back 100 years or more. I have photos of my family from 1884. I do have access to record offices and research centres because of the nature of my work. However, this test is easier and quicker, and will hopefully say I’m descended from some weird neanderthal tribe who lived in a cave in Russia somewhere lol.

Most definitely. Some American accents are annoying as hell! But a lot are lovely. Though it’s the same anywhere. Some accents in England are awful!

Honestly I’d be dead at 400 lbs lol, my body is hurting nearing 300 lbs lol. Only thing good is that I’m a tall dude so with big shirts I don’t look AS obese

Y'know what, I reached the conclusion that this black/white moniker thing is too divisive. It also ventures into, shades of black, and shades of white territory, which is vapid.

I tend to think of it now as, European ancestry, African, Asian...

Ethnicity is another thing...

 

Well you’re lucky, because I’m 5 foot 1 and as soon as I put on weight, it’s really obvious. I’m not petite in anyway. I’m broad shouldered and have big boobs.

 

That’s why I always dream about it, because it never happens in real life lol. It’s been so long, I’m not sure I’m comfortable doing it anymore... I think it must have been a year since the last time. Never thought being in a relationship would be so damn dry haha.
