For full benefits you should be in alpha state.

That's possible but I do know Tinnitus Mix is interfering with a feedback loop or cycle, when this loop is broken it can take weeks or months for the tinnitus to reform. Even the Neuromod people talk about multiple pathologies in the brain / ear feeding into each other (feedback loop).

I keep in contact with many and follow up. Brian Douglas does too and here is his friend's follow up months later.

The last ENT I had seen said my HF hearing loss is causing my noise. He is 86 years old and said he doesn't have tinnitus. Mine is especially bad upon awakening, A nasty static hiss atm. At least it doesn't physically hurt, but a terrible way to start out the day. I will try your tinnitus mix properly and see if it breaks the loop. It's probably noise and barotrauma induced.

That's a plausible theory, but you said you used it every night for a couple of decades, which doesn't leave any room to experience this week/month-long reforming period.

      *confused*

Yes you are confused, I don't have to use Tinnitus Mix every night but I CHOOSE to because of the good side effects, better deeper sleep, clarity of mind, etc. If I don't use it I will be tinnitus free for 12 to 18 days. Many letters and emails state same benefits. Some do report their tinnitus does not come back.

I think the end result of this should be a small device (bluetooth hearing aid?) that can be hidden and is comfortable to wear in sleep and any other time. It's strange how some perceive Tinnitus Mix as pleasant and some say it's the worst sound they have ever heard, but after a few days they say the sounds change into soothing sounds. I believe that is evidence of major changes taking place in the ear/ brain/ perception.

How can you know that since you've never tried? That's the confusing part. What am I missing?

I have a pair of WIDEX hearing aids. I also have the Tinnitus Mix on continuous loop downloaded on my phone where I can play it on the hearing aids.

Can this be as effective as the Koss headphones, at least to some degree? Certainly much more comfortable while sleeping.

      Thank you.

I have traveled and forgot to bring my device I play Tinnitus Mix on and my tinnitus will come back slowly over a week or two. I should have said I hardly ever miss a night. If there were any issues with the sounds or headphones I would have seen those manifest in the 18 years I have used it, it does not harm but helps many aspects of my life.

We have a big problem in this group and the test group, people just sit back and watch to see if others will try Tinnitus Mix and they wait and wait to see others results. This backfires and when very few results are posted then they say oohh it must not work.

It's worth a try, I do know the higher the frequency they go the better. If you could research the upper range they produce I could say more.

I had upper range loss from the tinnitus, did not have it before. Now after Tinnitus Mix I now have very sensitive hearing and can hear a pin drop. Unfortunately I have a new girlfriend who is a Vikings fan and is a very loud person and I have to put my fingers in my ears when she starts getting excited because I have all of my hearing back from the many years of using Tinnitus Mix.

This forum also has a big problem with hive mentality. Any criticism of their sacred cows is met with swift retaliation but someone like you with an effective treatment gets regularly abused and no one does anything about it. I was using this for a week or two and definitely saw improvement. I had to take a break because I experienced a spike from an unrelated event and I'm trying to let that heal before I restart this program. It does seem to work. I guess the fact that it doesn't cost $3000 like some other questionable devices makes people less willing to accept it.

You are exactly right! I have heard many say since it's free it must not work. In the test group we now have 600 members and I think 90% are sitting back waiting for others to try it before they will. If anyone has any ideas how to get people to participate I would love to hear about it. I am at a loss as why this is, when I was tortured with tinnitus I would have ran a marathon for a remedy.

Can you share your audiogram showing hearing loss before treatment and audiogram showing improvement of hearing loss after your treatment?

I have never been to an E.N.T. I study and research and am my own doctor, I have solved all problems I have ever had with natural herbs and wild plants that grow around my property. Of course the tinnitus was different, I had to use my engineering degree to make Tinnitus Mix, it has given my life back and many others have their lives back from it. I grow many herbs in a soil - less garden that uses aquaponics (fish tank water). I pick wild ginger and wild mushrooms, eat deer meat and stay away from chemicals in store bought food. I feel 17 again. I am just over 50.

Well because I haven't seen anyone reporting life changing improvements. 5 out of 6 is very good, but very mild changes and if it was that good I guess the people that were trying it, would have continued till the end.

Well many people have life changing experiences if you read the letters I post. This thread has only got a few people to even try it.

The letters are not from Facebook, I spent $3000 sending out free CDs to prove this works. People just sit back and watch waiting for others to post results, you are doing the exact same thing. You could be getting good results but you never will if you don't try it.

Really? When you read the whole thread the results are actually quite amazing in my eyes. If you have another treatment on this board with better results please let me know. I remember that 4 out of 5 or 6 who used it longer than two weeks had good results including me. For me it went back to baseline after two weeks but the others didn't report or come back so we will see. I guess a lot of members are waiting for the Neuromod device.

Didn't come back? Believe me if this cured or even made a big difference we would have already had "thank you for changing my life" posts. David got plenty of thank you letters.
